Great day in the Ocean today!
Morning started out as to be expected with a good group of customers. However, we had No drift, Nada, "0" on the GPS.... Fished some good bottom and power drifted for a couple of hours. Very slow pick on some shorts and Sea Bass.
Made a move to find the tide line, when we did we had the drift of the day.

Mike Bartholomeo, Jackson, NJ (on loan for the Day from the Angler) landed his personal best with a Great 9 pound beauty! Mike knew the minute he hooked into the fish that it was going to be a Big one! He started calling for the net right away! Several nice fish from 4 to 6 pounds while they were biting including some very nice Sea Bass.

Tom the Vet fishing in the bow started his day catching a keeper at the dock! He waited till the last drift of the day, fishing hard as usual, to land his best of the season at 8 pounds. Tom had a 7.6 on Tuesday and finally has his A game on track! High Hook had 4 nice keepers in the Box.

Not excellent fishing by any means, but the ones we are catching are beauties fishing in the Ocean.

Back at it tomorrow.
