Started offshore this morning, slugged away on keepers & shorts. East wind came on just enough with the incoming to make it tough with a fast drift.
Took off, fished the next area with the same results. Left that area and found the Meat! The crew went to work with Super Dave and Mark leading the way with high hooks of 5 nice keepers. Lots of quality fish around the boat.
Lou Lauria landed a nice 5 pound 11 ounce fish to start the overtime and take the lead in the pool. It was short lived as I hear Joey yelling, KEEP REALING, KEEP REALING!!! I know when I hear that, it's a big one.
Mark Hrubic, landed his personal best at 9 pounds 11 ounces to take the daily pool and is now the new Monthly pool leader! An awesome fish for an awesome customer who worked his butt off all day and never quit.
