Finally a good day with the Porgies! Some nice Sea Bass and a bunch of Trigger fish in the mix.
Weather held out for us, Ocean was flat calm. Looks like we are going to loose tomorrow with hard North winds.
We will be back at it on Monday. 7:30-3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
This cold front the next couple of days should get things going for us with the Striped Bass...Keep an eye for any updates during the week.
Things you should have in your Tackle box: Large 9 inch & Small Shads 6 inch, Flutter spoon, Jig with tail, plain Jigs, A Crocodil lure, Crippled herring, Bunker snag and a couple 6/0 Circle hooks. We have the Jigs, Shads & Crocs on the boat if you need them.
A spinning rod is prefered if you can't toss a Conventional set up. Thanks for checking in!

Another top 10 on the Ocean once again!
Had to make a bunch of drops to put the fish in the boat. Found some Jumbo Porgies today but they never stayed with us, same with the bigger Sea Bass. Lots of recycling all day but it was still a good day.
Steve took the pool with a Beautiful 3 pound sea bass, Dano had one the went 2 pounds. Not easy fishing by any means but you can still catch dinner. Tomorrow looks like another beauty of a day!

Another top 10 day on the Ocean with a nice mix of fish!!
Today we had a nice catch of Trigger fish, blackfish, Sea bass & Porgies. Another beauty Sea Bass took the pool beating out a decent sized Trigger. Justin (Hookie player) ended the day with 4 nice keepers and a whole bunch of Throw backs.....Promised him I'd send a note to his teacher, I think a nice picture will do. Good job kiddo, your one of my favorites!
Awesome crew of Regulars out today, thank God for everyone of them, they keep me going.....
Now, for the clowns who anchored up on top of me with the whole wide ocean and a hundered drops in the area, you should be ashamed of your-self's. Current swung me off of the drop, tried to re-set and 2 clowns ( a spot lock & anchored boat) right on the drop I was fishing all morning...Do you think a little courtesy would have worked? No, they looked at me like I had two heads. Sad what this has come to....Don't worry Clowns, I got plenty of drops and moved to a new area and kicked ass once again while you didn't have a clue.

FISHERMEN/Tuesdays Bottom Fishing Report

Much better all day action today on Sea Bass, Tog and a bunch of Porgies.
Ocean cleared up nice and the Weather was perfect. Only had to make 2 drops today. Lenny took the pool with a 2 lb. Sea Bass. Everyone went home with dinner. Looks good for the next two days, don't miss out.

Much calmer ocean today but the bite was tough on keepers.....
Plenty of action on all the drops but the bigger fish didn't want to co-operate. Ended up with a couple dozen keepers and a nice trigger fish.
The lack of Porgies so far is a disappointment to say the least....seems they still haven't left the sound or the Hudson. Few bass starting to bite so we will keep an eye on that the next week or so.
