Decided to get out of the bay and look around today.
Not good action, just a pick here and there with a handful of keepers and a bunch of shorts. Cliff took the pool with a nice 4 pound fluke.
Water still cold and I don't see a big body of fish, it's still early.
We will start Sea Bass fishing on Saturday for the opener and continue until we can catch some Ocean Fluke in a few weeks.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, kids under 12, $50. Rod Rentals $10.

FISHERMEN/FIRST FLUKE TRIP REPORT

Morning started out with a nice pic on keepers and shorts, all shallow water fishing working the throttles.
Bite didn't last long and we spent the rest of the day looking over a few other area's. Couple fish here & there but it was not good.
My nephew Ryan landed his three with a couple customers catching two with a bunch of shorts. Weather not looking good for Friday so we will take a pass and see you on Saturday.
Sailing Open boat 7:30am-2:30pm. No Reservations, just come on down. Fare is $90, kids under 12, $50. Rod Rentals $10.

FISHERMEN/BOTTOM FISHING
Not a good report for the first trip of the season.
Had to fight a nasty ocean and some tough conditions all day. Fished a few areas looking for a steady bite that never happened. The fact we had to toss back some nice Sea Bass & Blackfish just made it worse. Ended up with some ling and a decent pollock, just not enough.
Next sailing looks like it will be Wednesday as there is some crappy weather for Monday & Tuesday coming in.

FISHERMEN/First trip Saturday May 3rd. Bottom Fishing

Season for us starts this Saturday May 3rd, bottom fishing.
Ling, Cod, whatever we can catch till the Sea Bass opens up in a couple weeks. We have Clams for bait.
Please note that I am going to continue the early boat 7:00am-2:30pm sailing every day like in the fall.
We will save the Striper fishing for the fall when it tends to be a little more consistent with the jig fishing.
Fare is still $90 for Adults and $50 for kids under 12. Rod Rentals $10. Open Boat, no reservations, just come on down.
Joey & the guys have the boat looking beautiful once again, we can't wait to see everyone and get things rolling!
