Ocean was still pretty ugly today after yesterdays beating, the fun continued!
Made it to our first area and found life right away but it was short lived with a few keepers and some short action.
Wind started coming on earlier than expected, then the rain came and ticked me off even more!! Checked out a few more area's looking for some hungry life, finally found a few more Nice keepers in the last area but we needed 12 ounces and up to hold bottom.
Scott Scuderi & Brendon landed three nice keepers, Mustachio Richie and Catskill John both had two nice fish by days end. Dave B. Took the pool with an almost Whistle fish at 4 pounds.
Going to pass on tomorrow (Friday), Weather not looking good and I'm tired of getting beat up, I'm sure so are the customers!!
Back at it on Saturday. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

Had a Charter today for the Withum Company......
Did some bottom fishing in the AM, filled our Sea Bass quota, caught some beautiful Trigger fish, not many Porgies today.
Ocean was very rollie and after 2 hours many were feeling it so we headed to calmer waters to do some Fluke fishing. Had a couple dozen Fluke by days end and everyone who wanted fish to take home got it.
Back at it tomorrow Fluke fishing. 7:30am-3:00pm Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

Had just about the same exact conditions today as yesterday, fished a bunch of area's slugging away working the snags & Rough bottom.
By days end several customers had their three and then some.
Mustachio Richie, who has been out of the game for 6 weeks with a knee replacement, chomping at the bit the whole time was back to his usual self today landing 4 beauties and taking the pool with a very nice 5 pound 14 ounce Fluke. Steve "Chaos", Gary, Joe, Gramps, Ray and Walter all had their three also, some quality Fluke today. Big Sea Bass, trigger fish and huge Porgy in the mix as well.
Some were Hot, some were not....not mentioning any names. Good Karma always pays off...We ARE Fishing tomorrow, not taking any passes, going to be a beauty of a day!!

Morning started off with way too much current.....
Had to fish several area's looking for a decent drift, it never came. Wasn't easy but several customers got it done by days end working the snags.
Left one of my customers on the dock this morning....his son was aboard and didn't say anything till we were have way out in the bay. The guys father asks one of the so called Captains to call me on the radio, he goes in the wheelhouse comes out and tells the guy I said tough shit! Real professional crap right there, maybe I should post last years melt down report from Facebook!
No, for now I'll be better than that. Jealousy is a tough pill to swallow, deal with it.

Had a Charter today with the Adlai Nortye USA Company.....
We changed it up a bit and went bottom fishing as many of the folks never fished or had ever been on the ocean, glad we did!
Found fish and lots of action on every drop....Sea Bass, Triggers, Jumbo Silver Snappers & Fluke. Their Chef took a cooler of fish back to the Restaurant to prepare a feast for tonight's dinner. Awesome day on the Water.
