Very good fishing day with plenty of action once again!
Had to bounce around from drop to drop to get it done, once the smaller fish took over we'd make a move and start the bite all over again. Nice Big Sea Bass along with just the right sized keepers. A few ling and a couple Fluke in the mix also.
Weather looks great right through the weekend, don't miss the bite. "Last Sea Bass Special"is Monday, Fluke fishing from Tuesday on.
Sailing everyday 7:30am till 3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90. Rod Rental $10.
I will lay it out clearly about fish cleaning aboard the Fishermen just so my crew doesn't get abused like they did today.
The Guys who come once or twice a week (Regulars) always get taken care of first, doesn't matter if you are the first guy at the table, someone is going to be first, someone last, it's nothing personel but that's the way we do it. Please be happy that you had a great day, caught fish and actually have something to clean. To rant and rave at my guys is a big NO-NO and not appreciated. My crew bust's their ass every day and want everyone to be happy.
So please, at least be repectful of the working man!!
Thank you. Capt. Ron
Changed it up a bit today and fished a new area.
Found much better all day life and a better bite on Sea Bass. Had a few Fluke and a nice dinner size Cod Fish that took the pool.
Back at it in the AM 7:30am till 3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
Monday is the last bottom trip, Fluke fishing from Tuesday on.

This morning we had the readings on the first drop, thought for sure it would be up & down fishing.....
We only had a dismal pick. Made a quick move to deeper water, same thing, read the hell out of them, they wouldn't bite! Third drop we had a nice little pick going but it was short lived.
Left the area and finished up with some drop & reel fishing, lots of action picking through the smaller fish to get the keepers.
93 year Old Henry, the Patriarch on so many boats over the years had a nice catch and took the pool with a beautiful Sea Bass. Had several Fluke in the mix, one that was a nice keeper that didn't want to wait for the net....we will get him next Tuesday!
Last Sea Bass trip is Monday the 19th, Fluke fishing after that, everyday. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90 Rod Rental $10.
See you in the AM....Capt.Ron
Mike Hettesheimer, Boss Man of Spartech had his crew out with us today for their annual fishing trip.....
Once again, we did not disapoint! Guys & Gal's had a very nice trip with lot's of action on Sea Bass. 2 drops to get it done before the South wind came on at the end of the day.
Back at it in the AM. "Sea Bass Special" till the 19th, then it's Fluke time on the 20th.
Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
See you in the AM....Capt. Ron
Another perfect 10 today!! Ocean was beautiful and we had a nice all day bite once again.
Several customers where in the groove from start to finish with some very nice large Sea Bass.
A quick lesson to a young man in the stern and he ended up catching the pool fish. Always pays to listen to the crew, we do this everyday!
The current ran a bit more than usual today so you had to have at least 8 ounce to keep you out of trouble. Those that fished with 4 ounces and braid just made a mess, got frustrated and blamed everyone but themselves. Sorry guys, that's not on me.
Next Open trip is Monday, we are NOT AVAILABLE TOMORROW. Everyday after 7:30am till 3:00pm, Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10. Bring Ice.
