Bet you thought you'd read "What a great trip", sadly that wasn't the case.
East wind came on early, by the time we started fishing it was rollie as Hell with very tough conditions.
We did manage a couple handfull of keepers and a bunch of shorts, nothing I would brag about. East wind for the next couple of days will keep us at the dock, maybe Friday. I'll keep you posted.
Not Happy with this weather at all, we were pumped up to get this thing going!! Back at it soon...

Could have asked for a more perfect day for Fathers Day.....
Weather, Ocean, Awesome group of customers aboard and the fishing wasn't too shabby! Lot's of action to keep everyone busy.
Herb Miller took the pool with a Buzzer beater at just under a 3 pound Sea Bass.
Tomorrow is the Last Sea Bass trip, don't miss out. Fluke fishing from Tuesday on, 7:30am till 2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
An amazing thing happened on the way in today....at the point of the Hook this beautiful Giant Sea Gull landed on my stern Mast and rode us all the way home.....Everytime I bring out someone's ashes this Bird seems to appear the next day, it happened with my Dad, Eddie, Bill, Lin and now Capt. Bob. You gotta believe!!

FISHERMEN/Saturdays Fishing/Saying goodbye to a Best Friend.....

Fishing started out slow in the AM, read plenty of life and just managed a pick.
Kept searching for the ones that wanted to bite and when the conditions got right we found a bunch that wanted to eat!
Had to work the pieces but we got it done. Ariel landed a beauty for the pool at just under 3 pounds, larry was next with a nice 2 1/2 pound Sea Bass. Lot's of action to finish out the day.......
This afternoon I said Goodbye to one of my best friends and awesome man. The Sidorski family & friends came to take Capt. Bob to his final resting place at Rocky point, where the Navesink and Shrewsbury meet in the River. Blowing 3 Whistles sending him home broke me. I could tell story after story but he's probably pissed that I even mentioned this much......
Fair Winds Brother, I will always miss that shit eating grin. Till we meet down Rock Bottom Again, Love ya like a Brother.

FISHERMEN/Very Good Fishing today, Fridays Report

Very good Sea Bass fishing from start to finish today... Rain didn't come till we were on our way home, the day was made! Everyone went home with a nice bag of meat on Quality Sea Bass. Pool fish just under 3 pounds.
Great to see Fran & Brother Billy out getting back in the grove with a nice cooler of fish!
3 Bottom trips left, Bring Dad for Fathers day and make some memories. Fluke Fishing Daily from Tuesday on...
