The past two days have been a challenge to say the least.....
The Morning bite for us was terrible and we had to go in search mode both days. Found the Porgies but not the Jumbos like we had been catching. Plenty of Sea Bass and today we had 3 keeper Fluke.
Current has been ripping in the afternoon so you need the lead. Weather looks good for the next couple of days by Friday we should know what the weekend will bring.
Back at it in the AM. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90 sailing 7:30am-2:30pm. Clams for bait.

FISHERMEN/Sundays Jumbo Porgy Fishing

We only had a short window of opportunity today with the conditions...
Had a couple hours of good fishing with the Jumbo Porgies. Once the end of the tide and change came the Wind picked up, started getting nasty and the fish moved off.
Fished a couple more drops but we had already had the best of the day. A 3 1/2 pound Fluke took the Pool.
Next trip will be Tuesday as tomorrow is calling for more Southerly at 20-25, not good with outgoing tide so we will take a pass.
Weather looks good the rest of the week after tomorrow.

Very nice day with a flat calm Ocean and the fish were Hungry!
Plenty of Jumbo Porgies with a couple Triggers in the Mix.
Weather looks good for Sunday...See you in the AM.

Our next open trip will be Sunday, Friday it's going to Blow and we are Not available on Saturday.
Fishing has been good the past couple of trips with a nice Mix of Porgies & Trigger fish.
See you on Sunday. 7:30am till 2:30pm Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90.
We are using Clams for bait, Rod Rental if needed is $5. Please bring a bag of ice if you plan on using one of our buckets, the Sun will cook them for you if you don't.

Perfect 10 day out there today!!
Jumbo Porgies and a nice catch of Trigger fish. High hook had 3 triggers, couple guys with 2.
Bob, Stoney & Richie the Ole School guys ended the day with a nice catch between them. Dano took Dad's corner and proved worthy with a nice catch of fish also. Chris, Eric, Artie and Dennis all had a great day.
Will see what happens in the AM.....calling for some showers but you know how that goes!!
I will post about Friday's trip as of now they are calling for gust's to 30.....
