So nice to be back in the Game!!
Had a nice all day bite on some beautiful Striped Bass, nice clean fish and they were hungry.
Live bait was the ticket today as Joe and I were snagging our butts off. Several overs had to go back but everyone still had their keepers and then some.
Bill V and Johnathan S combined for over 20 big fish with Bill taking the pool on a 35 inch fish.
Things you have to have in your tackle Box: A snag for catching Bunkers, 4/0 or 5/0 Circle hooks with a dropper Rig, Large Shad and a Flutter spoon.A nice medium action spinning set up if you are not comfortable with a Conventional set up.
The jigs will work better when the smaller fish start to chew. Please come prepared!
Sailing everyday 7:30am, Open boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90.
See you in the AM,
Capt.Ron
Nice day for our last bottom fishing trip today.
Slugged away on the Sea Bass but the Tog were the Highlight of the day with Big Dave leading the Way with 8 Tog,one that took the pool at 6 pounds.
The Sea Bass fishing has been tough to say the least since the blow and the Porgies are done. With that said, we will start Striped Bass fishing on Tuesday.

Had a Charter today with the Barclay Crew....First area didn't produce with the exception of Horn Dogs! Took a ride and found a bite on Sea Bass.
Had to make a bunch of moves to keep the bite going but the guys got it done with a nice all day pick on the fish. Ended up with a couple Porgies in the mix along with a nice Trigger. Had a pretty good swell all day and have no idea where the hell that came from.
Back at it in the AM....Monday is not looking good. I will update on Monday as to when we will start Striped bass fishing.
Thanks for checking in,
Capt. Ron
