Pretty much the same daily report since we started back after the storm on Friday...
Plenty of action on the Sea Bass, way too many short fish with keepers in the Mix. We have had a few Black fish for the guys who have been bringing some crabs as we are fishing Rocky Bottom.
If you like to pick up some crabs, the Tackle box on 36 in Hazlet has them. You can buy them buy the dozen.
The Porgies have not been around since the blow. Stripers are starting to show so we are keeping an eye on that, hopefully soon!
Weather looks great for tomorrow. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90.

Kinda new what to expect today with the bite, went to the Porgy grounds first, way too much current and I didn't like what I saw, so we didn't waste too much time there.
Headed offshore and found life in a couple area's. Had to keep bouncing around as the fish wouldn't stay with us.
Herb put a nice catch together and took the daily pool. Plenty of readings and short fish with only a couple Porgies by the end of the day.
Weather finally looks great for the next week, I'm sure the bite will get better each day.
Back at it in the AM.....Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90 Bottom Fishing.
Clams for bait.

As of now, it looks like Friday the 7th will be our next sailing.
Ocean is going to take several days to settle down and I'm sure the water is going to be muddy!
We will be bottom fishing for Porgies & Sea Bass.....anybody want to take any bets on the Sea bass after this weather?
If anything changes I will update by Wednesday or Thursday.
Thanks for Checking in,
Capt.Ron
We will NOT be sailing the next several days, NE winds going into the EAST by the weekend.
I will update the schedule after the weekend.
Thanks,
Capt. Ron
The past two days have been a challenge to say the least.....
The Morning bite for us was terrible and we had to go in search mode both days. Found the Porgies but not the Jumbos like we had been catching. Plenty of Sea Bass and today we had 3 keeper Fluke.
Current has been ripping in the afternoon so you need the lead. Weather looks good for the next couple of days by Friday we should know what the weekend will bring.
Back at it in the AM. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90 sailing 7:30am-2:30pm. Clams for bait.
