The Rain in the AM didn't stop the customers from coming down today, it finally stopped just before we made our first drift and got nicer as the day went on.
Slugged away all day with some Nice keepers and plenty of short action.
Super Dave and Dave B. had their 3 and then some by days end. Several customers with 2 nice fish but it wasn't easy as we had to fish a bunch of drops.
Louise Lauria took the daily pool and is the new Monthly pool leased with a 6.5 pound Beauty!
Weather looks great for Friday & Saturday......WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS SUNDAY, SORRY.
Back at it in the AM....Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90....Ocean Fishing.

Much better fishing today as the swell laid down and we didn't have that Southerly Breeze.
Big Joe fishing the Bow lead the way with 6K's and 25 shorts, Eric landed 5K's , Grant and a couple other customers all had their 3 by days end.
Nicky "High Hook" took the pool with a very nice 6.9 pound Fluke.
Bait fishing did much better today as the jiggers spent a lot of time in the Rocks...Weather looks good right through the weekend.
WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS COMING SUNDAY.
Other than that we are OPEN BOAT EVERY DAY, NO RESERVATIONS JUST COME ON DOWN. FARE IS $90.
Capt. Ron
I hemmed and hawed all morning where to start, knowing that Southerly was going to kick in.
I decided if it weren't to rollie with that hard outgoing on the way out, I'd run off to where we had the best action a few days ago.....
We got there, picked a few fish with not much of a drift. Tried all the pieces then decided (like a jackass) to run another 7 miles. Had so many good fishermen on the boat I wanted to give it hell. Got to the next area, way too many shorts with a handful of keepers. Got out there after a couple drifts and took another Columbus run.
The next two area's conditions were terrible, no bite unless you count Sea Robbins & Skates. Back in the day I would call this a 3 Scotch night, now a couple smooth Bourbons while I work on tomorrows game plan!
Ended the day with a couple handfuls of keepers, a bunch of shorts and a Headache. Big Dave B took today's pool with a 3 1/2 pound Fluke.
Hoping the weather going into the North tomorrow with the outgoing all day gets us back on the Meat. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90...Ocean Fishing.
WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS COMING SUNDAY.....SORRY.
Capt. Ron
I didn't like the conditions in the AM with the hard outgoing & SW wind, didn't want to beat up the customers so we headed to a much easier area to fish.
Good action most of the morning bouncing around fishing mostly snags & rough bottom. Several nice keepers including a 4 pound pool fish. Many had 2 fish and couldn't find the third but landed many shorts for the action. The pool winner had his three and then some.
Once the tide changed the wind went South, drift went to 2.0 knots late in the day. Still picked at the fish but it wasn't easy. Still a nice day out there.
Back at it tomorrow with the Tuesday Regulars! Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down.
Fare is $90.....OCEAN FISHING
Sadly, we have lost another pillar of the Fishing Community, Captain Marty Haines of the Sea Pigeon suddenly past yesterday, doing what he love most, running a boat. Marty was an awesome man, Captain & friend to the fishing community. When I started running the Fishermen Marty was always there with a helping hand....I will miss his soft voice and confidence, he made me a better Captain. Until we fish again Captain Marty, I pray my Dad is the One who welcomes you Home.......
Capt. Ron
Had to Hustle out today knowing it was a short window of opportunity with the last of the tide and the hard SW predicted on the change.
Slugged away on some very nice keepers, shorts and a few Sea bass. Big Dave had the hot hand in the AM landing 4 Nice fish. Robert found his pool fish for the day and now leads the Monthly pool at 5 pounds 13 ounces.
Several guys had their 3 once again including "Hitman" Gregg, Anthony, Big Dave along with a couple other customers. Cliff who fished yesterday and had 15 shorts landed two nice fish today....He is still getting acclimated to our style!
Left the area and took a ride before the Wind came on and headed to the next drop. Started catching right away like the past few days but the drift got way too fast at 1.6 knots. The guys with the heavy sinkers still caught and the short action was what it is, action.
Still, a good day of fishing. Hard to believe that 40 plus keepers is now a Good or Great day of fishing! Times have changed.
Back at it tomorrow. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down! Fare is $90. OCEAN FISHING
