It certainly hasn't been easy the past couple of trips, No Breeze, not much current but we have been hitting several area's through out the day to get it done!
Today was no different as we found a little current, slugged away with some nice keepers and good short action, the second area held plenty of fish but like yesterday, the conditions didn't warrant wasting any time.
Got the breeze late, found some nicer fish to finish out the day. Pool fish went 4 pounds 10 ounces. Several guys with their three, many with 2 nice fish and a few Sea Bass.
WE ARE TAKING A PASS ON TOMORROW MONDAY!! WEATHER IS CALLING FOR 25-30 S-SW. WITH THE OUTGOING CURRENT ALL DAY, WE WON'T BE ABLE TO FISH ANY OF OUR SPOTS WITHOUT GETTING A BEATING.
See you on Tuesday!

Tough conditions with not much drift all day.....Had a little current in the AM which did help with the bite. Short action was as hot as the weather with Ben, John and a couple other customers landing over 20 fish.
Couple guys with 3, high hook had 4 nice fish. Ben landed a beauty Sea bass at 3 pounds.
Fished 3 area's, the second spot we actually had to power drift as there was not a breath of breeze or current.
Got the hell out of there went to a new area, got the breeze and some current naturally the bite started to turn on. Overtime once again but we still got it done.
Back at it in the AM. Open boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90. Ocean Fishing.

Very nice fishing today right from the start!
Had a slow .5 .6 drift which I was thankful for that, especially without any breeze. Worked a little snag hard for almost 2 hours before we lost the drift all together. Took a ride and waited out the afternoon breeze. It came in overtime, like clockwork the bite turned back on! Couple good shots that got the folks who had a tough morning a keeper or two.
Herb Miller lead the way with his three nice keepers, third pool fish in a row and our New Big pool leading fish at 5.13 pounds. Couple other customers had their 3, many had at least two with some beautiful Sea Bass in the mix.
Finally some nicer fish in the 3 pound range starting to show, have to have the conditions to catch and everyday it's a different ball game. Yesterday was the crapper with a hard Southerly and incoming, nothing wanted to chew.
Back at it in the AM. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90 OCEAN FISHING!!

Found some life in the AM and slugged away until the conditions went to crap!
Had wind against all day with not much drift....Found life and some fish every area we went but without the drift it was tough.
Started to move at the end of the day in a new area so we hung in there for a few more shots.
Herb for the second day this week had his three nice fish and another pool with a 3.8 pound Fluke
Tom landed 4 fish and a bunch of shorts....Several guys with two each and some Very nice Sea Bass which helped today.
WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE TOMORROW & THURSDAY....BACK AT IT OPEN BOAT ON FRIDAY!

Didn't look like we were going to make it out today with the weather report....Finally got some customers after 6:30 and ended up with half a loaf!
Naturally, we found a line of fish and were catching, wind started coming on early and we had to put the 10 oz sinkers on. Drift got way too fast but the guys hung in there and listened to us on how to fish the current.
Slugged away all day but it wasn't easy, the shorts were hungry and a couple guys had 15-18 smaller fish on good action. Couple guys had their three by days end but again....it was not easy!!!
A few nice Sea Bass and I was almost tempted to drop the anchor and catch them but you know those Flukers, it's Fluke or die!
Robert took the pool with a 3 1/2 pound fish along with his Three. I'd like to say it was a nice day on the Ocean but then I'd be lying!!! Used to be a 2 Scotch night on days like today, tonight it's a 3 Aleve kinda night!!!
Back at it tomorrow! NOT AVAILABLE THIS WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY..SORRY.
