FISHERMEN/Wednesdays Fishing Report

Still had a swell out there today but it did lay down a bit from yesterday.
Had good short action most of the day with keepers mixed in....Couple customers had their 3, some with two.
Had Phil Sciortino from the Tackle Box along with his Son & Nephew aboard today...the youngsters showed Pop how it's done landing a bunch of Fluke & some nice Sea Bass.
Weather looks great for tomorrow, light West wind and the Ocean should be much easier to deal with.
NOT AVAILABLE THIS SATURDAY...SORRY.
Back at it in the AM. 7:30am-3:00pm Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90

FISHERMEN/Tuesdays Swell Day!

The Weather co-operated today with nice temps and Blue skies but we had a swell from Hell!!
Had a nice pic first thing in the AM then we had to leave the area....Next spot we found some nicer fish but the drift was very fast, 10's & 12's with the current.
Lenny landed a beauty for the pool at 5 pounds 7 ounces today. A few nice Sea Bass in the mix and a handful of customers had two nice keepers by days end. Surprised we caught anything at all with those conditions, still a nice day for a Viking.

Another beautiful day out there today, ocean water looked like the Canyon!
Plenty of action on the shorts, several customers with their three, some with more including...Dave B, Tom, Steve, Super Dave, Frank, Sal & Richie who also landed the pool fish at 5 pounds 7 ounces.
JTP had a monster Sea Bass that went 20 1/2 inches 3 1/2 pounds!

After yesterdays horrible conditions and basically the same conditions today, I decided to fish a calmer area and glad I did. Beautiful day, nice drift, we had a good bite most of the day and nobody puked!
Plenty of short action to keep everyone busy and keepers to keep everyone interested. Arnaldo had his three and the pool fish at 5 lbs 4 ounces.

Very tough conditions most of the trip today....had a screaming current and nasty roll which made it very hard to catch. Didn't matter inshore or offshore as we tried several area's.
Tom & Mark did get their 3 some guys with two but it wasn't good by any means. Sea bass helped and what bite we did end up having came late when the breeze died. A nice pool fish once again at 6 plus pounds.
Tomorrow is another day, should be much better conditions.
