Fished 3 area's today and found some quality Fluke.
June started the morning off with a nice 4 pound fish, Big Dave had his three with another 4 pound fish on the rack....slugged away on shorts, keepers and Sea Bass but it was never a hot bite no matter where we went. From No current to a strong current, seems to be the trend for the past week.
Dano took the pool with a 5 pound 8 ounce Beauty on the last drop......The Mustache is a killer! LMAO Dano.
Back at it in the AM 7:30 till 3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

Lot's of current in the AM, needed the weight but the action was good to start the day.
Some nicer fish including Mike's 4.7 pound Fluke that ended up coming in second on the pool to Marks 5.7 pound beauty! Bite died for the last hour and a half and didn't turn back on. Some beauty Sea Bass in the mix also.
Now for my rant of the week. Had a very good customer today get stuck in the rocks, Joe try's to get him out, another customer was tangled in the line, Joe lost control of the rod and it went overboard. Customer is pissed, I get it, Joe offers him his own personel Rod with an avid reel and custom Rod over $400 Value, customer tells me he lost a $200 set up what are we going to do about it? You got the offer. You refused something to make it right, now I get the text "I will never step on that boat again".
Sorry you feel that way my friend, accidents happen, we tried to correct it, you passed. Hazards of fishing in the Rocks and I'm actually surprised it went this way.
Capt. Ron
Had to grind it out once again today to get it done...
Work a couple pieces that produced some nice Fluke, a Bunch of Sea Bass and a Beautiful Trigger fish that was caught by John B.
Tommy HC, Bill V. and JTP all had their 3 keepers by days end with a bunch of customers with 2. Catskills John took the pool with a 4 1/2 pound Fluke.
Steve "Caos", Brothers Bob & Rollo part of the Mustachio crew were out today missing brother Richie who is re-cooping from surgery, don't think we didn't miss you pal, it's never a class without the Teacher!!
Been fishing several area's since we started, always looking for the mother load, hasn't been the same area two days in a row since the Fluke season started Thank god I have lot's of spots.
I hope everyone is as sick of the Rain crap as we are, we are sailing tomorrow as most of what ever is going to happen comes in the afternoon. 7:30am till 3:00pm, Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

Huge swell on the way out this morning had me shaking my head knowing it was going to be a tough bite.
Hung in there though slugging away on some quality fluke. Couple guys had their three, some with 2 nice fish by days end. Dennis had two beauties, Pool fish went just under 7 pounds.
No drift most of the morning, when we did get some current it was a slider. Found some fish at the end of the day but I wouldn't call it good fishing by any means. Like I said the other day, it's a grind, just gotta be in the right place at the right time.
Back at it in the AM. 7:30 till 3:00pm Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down, Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS WEDNESDAY.....Capt. Ron
The rain did get us this morning, heavy when I got to the boat.....
June & Lenny were the only two brave souls to show up so we had a Bagel and called it a day!
Weather looks great for Monday & Tuesday.
WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON WEDNESDAY this week. I have my long time Customer Anthony Amiano and the crew from Buildings & Grounds taking their annual fishing trip once again....it's been about 18 years I think, I have a whole dresser drawer filled with those Special "T" shirts they bring every year!
Other than that we sail every day, 7:30am till 3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
Thanks for checking in!
