We had two awesome Charter's with us this weekend.
Saturday, Brian Benevento had his memorial fishing trip once again in honor of his son who passed 8 years ago. Once again it was a nice day on the ocean slugging away on Fluke & Sea Bass for all those aboard. The pictures posted never get old, the pain never goes away for Brian but his passion to keep his Son's memory alive is beyond commendable.....Much respect my friend. Thank you to all for being here.
Sunday, we had a new crew from Johnstone, Dan & Linda put together a great bunch of guys & gals to say thank you for the support.
Morning started out a little tough with a whole lot of current, took a while to get everyone acclimated but we did what we had to do and got it done for them. Great day on the water with lots of action....Made a new customer.

Went back to the clean water today looking for some bigger fish, glad we did!
Lou Lauria started things off by landing his personal best Fluke at 7 pounds 5 ounces, just missing the leader Bill Venezia's fish at 7 pounds 7 ounces.
Few minutes later I'm fishing next to Richie Gringo in the Pulpit, he just switched up to bucktailing as the current had eased off, he gets a strike from Hell and the drag starts doing what it does best. We both know it's a good fish, all he kept saying was "I just want to see it"!
Well, see it we did, a beauty at 8 pounds 1 ounce and taking the lead in the Monthly pool. Couple other fish 3 plus pounds and nice action for the day. Kevin also had a great day with a nice rack of Fluke & a beauty Sea Bass.....gave him the encouragment speech in the AM and it worked!!! Good job by all who fished with me today, it was fun.
Back at it in the AM, don't panic with the weather, there's always a plan to get it done. Open boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90.
NOT AVAILABLE THIS SATURDAY & SUNDAY.......Capt.Ron
Had to go find the clean water today and that's what we did....Found some nice Fluke that wanted to bite also!
Pat, John & Ariel all had their three and then some by days end. Ariel also took the pool with a 5 pound beauty.
Lot of short life on some of the pieces along with a bunch of keeper Sea Bass. We actually had an all day drift for a change which made it even better. Back at it in the AM....7:30 Sailing. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
Please Note: WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS SATURDAY & SUNDAY.

I do believe all the fresh water run-off is taking it's toll on this fishery......Ocean today was a disgrace with the water quaility!
Started offshore with No drift, ran inshore and found a nice drift just not many fish. Even the Big Sea Bass we have been catching didn't bite.
Fished a whole bunch of good bottom that should have at least very good short action and yet Nadda. We do catch a few nice Fluke but for this time of the season it should be game on just about everyday. Pretty sad when we couldn't put a catch together for 13 customers, more than frustrating to say the least.
Gonna try some Old School ideas tomorrow and see what happens, We NEVER quit. I always talk about Patients, this is testing the limits. Back at it tomorrow giving it Hell....Monthly pool is over $1000, Bill Venicia is holding on with his 7 pound 7 ounce Fluke.
Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod rental $10 7:30am Sailing.
Don't wait for the Report, come and Be the Report!
