Beautiful day on the Ocean today with a great group of guys!
Looked over the inshore stuff on the way out this morning and didn't even stop. Way too may tiny fish to waste our time. Headed off to the deep and found a nice little snag with some fish on it, worked it all day.
No mad bite but everyone went home with the meat by the end of the day. The readings are no where near what they were a couple weeks ago and some of the drops are barren but we can still put a catch together everyday.
Weather looks good all week, last shot for Sea Bass will be Friday, Saturday we start Fluke fishing.....
Back at it in the AM. Open Boat, No reservations just come on down. Fare is $90. Tackle available on Board.

Very tough day today!
Fished three area's with only a couple handful of Keepers, a few ling and a bunch of shorts. Anchored, Drifted didn't matter.
Jigging did work better than the bait today for those whose fished that way. Back at it tomorrow.
FLUKE FISHING BEGINS SATURDAY JUNE 18th (next week) for us.

After two days off, didn't know what to expect so we ran out to where we have been fishing to start.
No Drift and plenty of shorts with not a lot of keepers, maybe I have poison bait. Left the area in search mode. Next spot pretty much the same with even more little fish. Gave that 15 minutes and left.
Checked out one last area and found some life, still a bunch of shorts but several guys did well with some nice Sea Bass, a couple ling and Winter Flounder. John took the pool with a 3 1/2 pound Flounder today.
Weather & Ocean were beautiful. Should be the same for the weekend! Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90 Sailing 7:30AM

Made it offshore just in time for the Southerly to start blowing. Got nasty fast.
Fished two drops with not much of a bite, looked around a bit then got the hell out of there!
Fished a couple drops in shallower water, slugged away on each, plenty of small fish but several guys, John, Steve, Mr. Kim, Tom & Steve did OK by the end of the day. Tony Jr. took the pool with a nice 2 1/2 pound Sea Bass.
Going to start searching some new area's tomorrow looking for a better bite. Back at it in the AM. 12 Sea Bass trips left before we start Fluke fishing on the 20th.
