Changed things up a bit today and took a ride....Glad we did!
Found the first Sand eels of the season and the Bass were Hungry. First drift went 30 minutes with non-stop action on fish up to 36 inches. Everyone had thier two by trips end. Plain Jigs & Jigs with tails were the ticket catching these beauties. Can't wait to get back at it tomorrow!

Once again the early sailing payed off for us today....
Tried an area we haven't fished in a while and worked the readings. Half a dozen nice drifts slugging away on the Bass.
Gregg P. had the hot hand landing 5 fish, couple guys had two, some with one.
Bite died after we got mugged, spent a few hours in search of with not much luck. Caught the end of the tide on the last drop and landed 3 more fish to end the day. Back at it in the morning.

Very tough fishing for us today....
Didn't have the life we've been used to the past couple of weeks. Read a lot of mid-water fish and only managed a hand full of keepers in several area's. The fish we did catch were all on jigs with the exception of 1 that was caught on a shad.
Back at it in the morning to give it Hell! 7:00am Sailing. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is$90, Rod Rental $20.

Morning started out like the past 3 with loads of life in several area's.
Very tough to catch for most but we did pick away. Got tired of the run & gun crap with all the boats so we left the area and took a ride, glad we did.
Found some awesome readings on good bottom and went to work.. 20 minute drifts with non-stop action on fish up to 30 pounds, all by myself....Ray had the Big Girl today. Nice mix on the size from small to large.
Finally some of the guys got the message about putting on the jigs this time of year....Jigs with tails worked the best along with plain jigs & Crippled herring, all were HOT.
We will get the day in tomorrow, East wind with incoming all day those babies should be hungry once again! Not sailing Thanksgiving....
See you in the AM

Today it paid to be the early boat!
Headed out and found the life right away once again, lots of action on mostly Bonus fish with a few keepers mixed in. Bite lasted till all the traffic showed and that was it!
Henry had a dozen fish along with the pool fish, Frank had 10, Smiley Joe had 8 for high hooks for the day. Covered a whole bunch of miles looking for another good bite while waiting for the change of tide. Picked fish on some drops, none of others. Back at it in the morning, 7:00am Sailing.
