Slugged away all day on two drops.
Good action once again with the Sea bass and ling. Conditions were pretty crappy as the wind came on with the change of tide, actually surprised we caught what we did.
Joey brought his daughter Josie out for her first trip, she couldn't wait to get out there and help her dad. Once we started fishing and she got the hang of it, she landed 4 ling & 3 keepers Sea Bass. Now she wants boots & slickers, awesome job making dad proud!!
Supposed to be a little less wind tomorrow, doesn't matter when the fish are biting though, we will be shaping up.
Sailing everyday Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.

Nice first bottom trip with action all day.
As usual we had to work through the smaller fish to get the keepers and the ling helped putting meat in the coolers. Herb, Richie and Rob had the hot hands today with many fish being caught on the jigs.
A simple 2 hook set up with a Sand eel up high and a Jig on the bottom worked best. Pool fish was a 2 1/2 pound Sea Bass.
Sailing every day 7:30-3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Kids under 12 $50.

Starting Saturday May 17th. we will be Sea Bass & Bottom Fishing.
7:30am-2:30pm Everyday. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down.
Fare is $90 Adults, $50 kids under 12 and $10 Rod Rentals.
High low Rigs & Jigs work the best. Medium action rods in case you need the heavier weight.

FISHERMEN/Mondays Fishing Report

Decided to get out of the bay and look around today.
Not good action, just a pick here and there with a handful of keepers and a bunch of shorts. Cliff took the pool with a nice 4 pound fluke.
Water still cold and I don't see a big body of fish, it's still early.
We will start Sea Bass fishing on Saturday for the opener and continue until we can catch some Ocean Fluke in a few weeks.

FISHERMEN/FIRST FLUKE TRIP REPORT

Morning started out with a nice pic on keepers and shorts, all shallow water fishing working the throttles.
Bite didn't last long and we spent the rest of the day looking over a few other area's. Couple fish here & there but it was not good.
My nephew Ryan landed his three with a couple customers catching two with a bunch of shorts. Weather not looking good for Friday so we will take a pass and see you on Saturday.
