Started the morning in a little deeper water today.
Read the hell out of the life, anchored and had a bunch of keepers right away, made a couple shifts before the bite turned into smaller fish.
Left the area and looked in a little shallower, glad we did as we landed on drop & reel fishing for the rest of the trip. Big beautiful keepers with some ling in the mix as well. Herb took his first pool of the year with a just under 3 pound Sea Bass.

Caught the change of tide bite first thing this morning.....
Got anchored up and had drop and reel fishing with loads of big Sea Bass coming up. Got a couple hours out of it shifting the anchors. When the current started running a little harder we tried some deeper water. Picked some fish not enough to stay.
Looked over another area and found the life once again. 2 1/2 pound Sea Bass took the pool. Had some nice ling and a couple fluke in the mix as well. Great day on the ocean, doesn't get any better than that!

Just another perfect day once again.
Every thing worked well, the weather, the fishing and a great group of customers. Started out drifting till the current started to run, we anchored for the rest of the day.
Very good action all day with just a little lull when the current ran hard. We looked around and found some bigger fish once again to finish out the day. Lot's of quality sea bass and a bunch of ling. No Fluke today.

Finally a perfect day all around!
Started off the morning drifting and catching, didn't like the slide we had so we dropped the hook.
Once again we had very good action all day, the bigger fish turned on hard for a half hour just before the current came through. Made another drop and got back on them to finish out the day. Had a few ling and a couple fluke in the mix as well. Everyone went home with plenty of meat. Kevin took the pool with a beauty Sea Bass at 2 3/4 pounds.

Much nicer day today with a calmer ocean.
The bite once again was very good for a great group of customers, many I haven't seen since last season!
Had a variety of fish today along with the Sea Bass, a few Fluke, Ling and the first couple Macrel of the year. Only took 2 drops to get it down and everyone went home with the meat! Pool fish was a 3lb beauty.
Weather looks great all week with light west winds, don't miss the bite it doesn't last forever.
