FISHERMEN/VERY GOOD FISHING MONDAY

Not much current, no breeze at all today.
Worked the snags and rough pieces of bottom to get it done. Several limits once again on some beauties.
Pool fish came down to two fish, one at 6.2 the winner at 6.4 caught by Gary. Herb Miller is still in the lead with his 6 pound 10 ounce fish. 3 days left for the Monthly pool now at $1200. Back at it in the AM.

Just a side note, we fish rough bottom, if you don't listen to myself or the crew you are going to loose tackle all day. No need to get stuck especially when we have no movement. That's on you, DO NOT take it out on my crew! These guys bust their ass all day and have to listen to you piss & moan, it gets old. Please stay home if you're a cry baby. Thank you.

Weather report killed us today and it turned out to be a beauty with some of the largest fluke of the season coming in.
Had a couple hours of no current or drift, worked a few small pieces picking away on shorts & keepers.
June benson landed the first beauty at 5 pounds 14 ounces. John Hrubic had the next one at 6 pounds 6 ounces taking the daily pool and just missing the new leader on the Monthly by a few ounces. High hook landed 7 beauties, several customers with their three, all quality Fish.
Only 4 trips left on the Monthly pool which is over $1,200. Weather looks good all week, don't miss the bite!

FISHERMEN/SATURDAY'S CHARTER FISHING REPORT

Had Brian Benevento with the Rotary Club of Staten Island back out with us today for some fluke fishing.
Wind report for the day didn't sound so good and we had just a short time before it came on. Got a couple drifts in and landed several fish along with a bunch of shorts. Tide changed and all hell broke loose, got nasty fast.
Left the area trying to find better conditions and a bite but it was not good. Everyone still had a good time being out for the day.
Weather looks better for tomorrow with a west wind, we are sailing,don't worry about rain!!!

Herb Miller from Wayne NJ was the man today leading the way with 8 beautiful fluke, one at 6 pounds 13 ounces to become the new Montly pool leader.
Several customers with their three once again, all quality fluke. Put in some over-time when I found a little knuckle of fish that were Hungy....hit it 4 times as there was no way I could leave it.
Joe took some great shots once again in between all the other jobs he and Tuna do all day.

Another great group of Customers showed today to find one hell of a nice catch of Big Fluke!
Many guys & gals with their three, some with a double limit by days end. Gary Karcher landed 4 beauties and took the pool with a nice 4.7 pound fish. The pics tell the story for todays trip. Back at it in the AM!!!
