The rain hurt us this morning customer wise but we did have a group that came out for their anual fishing trip.
The Master Baiters made a nice day of it catching some good quality fluke and by days end Rich was declared the winner of the Trophy with a 3 1/2 pound fish.
Big Joe had three beauties at 5.6, 4.4 & 3.8 pounds taking the daily pool. Frankie landed two beauties also at 4.9 and 4.0. Some short action in a couple spots also. Weather looks good for tomorrow.
Sailing Everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.
See you in the AM,

Tough day today with not a good morning bite...
Headed out with another good group of customers, most were set up the proper way today but the first couple drifts produced only a few fish. Hung in there as long as we could but it's tough when the bite isn't happening.
Left the area, fished a bunch of spots with an occasional keeper here and there. The short bite got better after the change of tide but not enough to say it was a good day. Pool fish went 4.7 lbs and we had another at 4.3 lbs. Back at it tomorrow to give it hell!
NOT AVAILABLE THIS COMING THURSDAY......
Sailing every day (not Thursday) 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.

Headed out with a great group of customers today....a couple I haven't seen in years and one fellow in 25!! Still Happy after all that time he came back to fish with me.
Started right off with 5 nice fish on the first drift...Slugged away on every drift for a couple hours until we lost the conditions.
Left the area finally finding some current, picked a few more keepers in the mix of shorts and the last area was dead late in the day.
Pat landed a beauty to take the daily pool at 6.7 pounds, Chico is the new Monthly Pool leader with a nice 5.7 pound Fluke. Light SE tomorrow should be perfect for fishing and maybe cool things off a bit!
Sailing everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.
WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS COMING THURSDAY.....SORRY.
See you in the AM,

Another nice day with Quality keeper Fluke.
Pool fish once again was another beauty at 6.5 pounds. All fish are being caught on Bait the past few trips.
Heavier rods and 8-10 ounces of lead as we are fishing deeper water. Couple guys lost some very nice fish with the light rods again today...
Sailing everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.

Found some more Quality Fluke today including Sams 5 pound pool fish.
Lost a couple good head shakers on the way up and 2 just before the net!
Fishing deeper water with current guys, I'll say it again, the Noodle rods aren't going to make it. A Noodle rod is so light that it bends like a Noodle with 6 ounces of lead. (See pic attached)
PLEASE bring a medium action rod that can handle 8-10 ounces of lead. I'd rather see you rent one of our Rods than be in tangles and not be able to set a hook on a good fish all day.
Bait has been working better than the jigs the past couple trips.
Sailing everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.
