FISHERMEN/SATURDAYS FLUKE FISHING

I didn't realize that there were 2 Fluke tournaments today, I figured it out when I saw the Fleet in the AM!!
Couldn't get any where near were I wanted to be so we did a little searching. Like yesterday, we found a little knuckle of life and worked it hard most of the day.
Each drift a couple keepers, some shorts and a few sea bass. Had to stay with it and glad I did, bite got better at the end of the day and we found several nice fish.
Lilly, Johnny P. and Frank had their three by trips end with several others landing two and one around the boat. Lost a beauty just before it got to the net. No, it is NOT easy fishing, just a grind every day to get it done. Bait & Gulp work the best the past few trips. Pool fish today was 4.7 pounds.

FISHERMEN/FRIDAYS FISHING REPORT

Great group of Regulars out with us today on one of the nicest in a while.
Found a little knuckle of fish right off the bat, landed a couple keepers, some shorts and a bunch of Sea Bass. Worked that spot as long as I could catching a couple keepers each drift until it died.
Several other area's were pretty much dead with not even shorts. Steve landed a beauty at 5pounds 6 ounces to take over the Monthly pool and winning the daily pool.

FISHERMEN/THURSDAYS FLUKE FISHING

Yesterday we couldn't hold bottom with 10 ounces, today I had to power drift to make the boat move, go figure!
Fished a few area's and several drops looking for bigger fish only to find plenty of short action with a handful of keepers no matter where we went. Had a bigger swell in the AM left over from last night and I'm sure that was the problem.
Ocean layed down by the end of the day and we found some nice action to finish it out. Tomorrows weather looks perfect, Ocean will be calm....let's hope they are hungry!
Everyone is struggling in this business this season, don't quit!! We all work hard everyday trying to get it done, it's frustrating beyond belief trust me.....But Please, doesn't matter if you fish with me or any other boat, Please don't quit, We never will. See you in the AM.

FISHERMEN/WEDNESDAYS FLUKE FISHING

Today we had our annual Buildings & Grounds Charter for Anthony Amiano & crew......
Sadly after 19 years in a row with us, Anthony couldn't make the trip due to Surgery he had last week. Broke my heart to see him wave goodbye when we sailed. Even the Music wasn't the same without him...
Made our way to where the day would begin to find a roll & fast current....We put the lead on, gave instructions and winged it from there. Tough group as always making the best of the conditions.
Had good short action, found a few keepers and even anchored up to catch some Sea Bass, Ling and a couple Fluke on the anchor. Did what we had to do to get it done! Pool fish made 4 pounds and the Ladies out-fished the men today.
Weather looks great the next several days, change in the wind direction I'm praying will bring on the bite we've all been waiting for!!! Back at it in the AM to give it hell....

Much better action today with a good all day bite!
Plenty of shorts with a couple guys landing their three, several customers with 2 by days end.
Pool fish went 6 pounds One ounce. WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE TOMORROW...WEDNESDAY.
Hope to see you on Thursday or Friday this week. Going to have some Northerly weather (Finally)! Water temp just under 70 degrees so things are looking up for sure!
