Many times in this business it just takes a little patience and lot's of searching to get it done.
Today it paid off despite horrible conditions in the AM with wind against and a strong current. The guys got the lead out, we found some hungry fish and everyone went to work. Several guys with their three and Willy landing the pool fish going 8 pounds by the end of the day.
Some nice pics from today in the report. Back at it in the AM, weather looks great all week.

Bite was still off a bit today. Fished several area's with just a fish here and there.....
The ones we did keep were beauties though, couple 3 to 6 pound fish. Dennis had one 6 pounds 6 ounces. Elijah Tuchman took the pool with another good fish.
Anchor Joe Hannily, the last of the original Monday Regs was out with me today, he would have had the pool but decided not to go in! Talking about the Ole days and remembering every one of them like it just happened.....priceless!

Headed out with a nice group of customers today, breeze was NE maybe 12 knots not too bad.....
Saw some white water at Romar from the swell coming in and knew it was going to be a tough day! Once out between the channels it started getting bigger, now I knew we were screwed!! Made it the first area, caught a couple shorts, a keeper and a bunch of nice Sea Bass that had to go back. Fished 8 different area's without any bites the rest of the day, very dissapointing to say the least but expected.
By the end of the day the breeze died and the heave started to lay down a bit, didn't matter though the damage was done. Hopefully tomorrow we will find some better life. Back at it in the AM. 7:30-2:30pm.
NOT AVAILABLE SUNDAY

Yesterday I had to work the Throttles all day, no current, no drift. Today we had to get the lead out!!!
First area we slugged away with a few nice keepers and some shorts. Didn't like how the bite was going after the change, made a move and didn't last long there. Had no bites so we left that area.
Took a ride and found several nice fish including Scott's 8.3 pound, 27 inch beauty. Had a couple 5's and some 3 pound fish. Stephen had his 3 and a few guys had 2 by the end of the day. East wind certainly shut down the bite and it got a little sporty for the end of the day.

Had the Regs out in force today for another beautiful day on the Ocean....
Got to the first drop to find no current, no drift worked a couple pieces power drifting waiting for the change of tide. Picked at the fish, just not good enough. Gave it an hour waiting for conditions to improve, when they didn't we took another ride.
Next area same condition but the bite was much better power drifting....Several guys had their 3, Pat landed 4 a bunch with 2 and so on. Lot's of short action and contraband Sea Bass going back.
Ray Baby took the pool with a very nice 6 pound Fluke on his noodle-rod!! He will never give it up now....
Weather looks great for tomorrow, don't miss the bite! WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS SUNDAY.
