Another beautiful day on the Ocean....
Had life pretty much every where we went with keepers & Shorts. Started the morning off with Doug the Pilot from Staten Island landing a beauty at 6 pounds on the money. He is now in the lead of the Monthly pool while taking the daily pool today.
Several customers with their 3 by days end, a bunch with 2 in the cooler. Gulp & bait worked the best. Weather looks great right through the weekend, we are sailing everyday!!
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, Kids under 12 $50, Rod Rentals $10.
See you in the AM, Capt. Ron
Had a nice gang of customers who didn't listen to the weatherman this morning.
Had to bounce around all day to get it done, with a pretty good swell and not much of a drift the guys and gals had to work it hard to catch.
Ended up with some beauties and a few limits along with a bunch of nice Sea Bass. Gave it an extra half hour and caught the pool fish at 6 pounds 4 ounces. Kelly had one just before the big one at 4.6 pounds. Several fish in the 3 pound range by days end.
Weather looks great right through the weekend, we are sailing on the 4th also.

Tough conditions to start the day today. Not much of a drift and lack of wind certainly didn't help the conditions.
Picked away on shorts & a few keepers but had to keep looking for the bites, the drops that produced yesterday were not so good today.
By mid-afternoon we got the breeze and some current and found something we could work. Couple guys ended up with their 3, some with 2 and a few nice Sea Bass. Catskill John had the hot hand with his 3 and numerous shorts. Steven Lauria and Dad landed 5 nice keepers. Pool fish went 4.4 pounds. Back at it in the AM.

Beautiful day once again and we found some more beauties!!
Had good action right off the bat this morning, bait & jigs both were working. Got a couple hours out of it until the current ran too hard, fished another area and picked away.
Went to check out one last drop and Gary Linn found the one I was looking for, A 27 inch 8 pound one ounce beauty to take the daily pool. Couple guys with their 3, some with 1-2 by days end. Back at it in the AM.

Amazing the differance from yesterday!
Swell was gone, we had a drift and the Fluke were hungry. Lenny Mcgill started things off landing a beauty at 5 pounds to take the monthly pool leader position. That didn't last long as Larry Rock who has been on a roll the past couple of trips boated another beauty at 5.7 pounds.
Several fish from 3-4 poound and good short action. Several limits including June who finally made the picture show after a long Hiatus! Beautiful day on the Ocean, lots of nice pics with todays report. One customer did tell me to make sure I mentioned 2 guys, no keepers, there you have it. Back at it in the AM.
