What a difference a day makes!
Weather was perfect, Ocean laid down, the fish were biting and nobody puked!! Found life on several drops, shorts and keepers.
Some quality fish finally coming in with Eric tying the monthly pool leader with a beauty at 5 pounds 2 ounces. Shawn Pearl had the hot hand landing 6 nice keepers, couple guys with 3, many with 2 nice fish and a bunch of shorts for the action.
The small Gulp sand eels have been working the best with a plain, simple rig. Weather looks good all week, don't miss the bite!!

I knew today would be a slow showing of customers with yesterdays weather and what they called for today, but we lite up anyway and put our big boy pants on!
The ocean had a swell, the current was a bit too much and the bite was horrible. Fished harder than I can remember trying to get it done, didn't matter. Inshore, offshore trying to find something we could work.
Never made the same drift twice as it wasn't going to happen but we never quit. I'll be in bed by 8 tonight and back at it in the AM with the same passion to get it done. Just a few keepers and some shorts for the effort. The life of a Party boat Captain.

Some nicer fish being caught the past couple of trips. Hoping the light NE tomorrow has them snapping!!!

Started out the day waiting for some current, didn't see much on the first two drifts.
Found a couple area's that did have life and a bite with shorts and some nice keepers. Couple matching 4.10 pound fish for the pool with Chico taking it today.
Tom had his three, June and a couple customers with two and a few nice Sea Bass. Monday does not look good, some East wind with rain, I'll update tomorrow for Tuesday.

Checked out some new area's today to change it up.
I can say it's not much of a change with the bite in those area's. Caught the shorts with a few nice fish that's about it. Pool fish went 4 pounds for the big man with the Rod Rental. Gen Wong had two nice keepers and a beauty Sea Bass by days end.
We are not sailing until Sunday, Tall ships & Fireworks for the next two days. Can't wait for this weekend to be over!!! See you on Sunday.
