Gorgeous day in the Ocean for our first Fluke trip today.
Found life on the first drop with some nice keepers coming in. Worked the area till we got hit with the outgoing, breeze against held us up and killed the drift.
Worked a bunch of hard bottom area's the rest of the day slugging away.
Pat has a Monthy pool leading fish at 4 pounds 4 ounces but lost the daily pool to a fish that went 4.11. Several folks did OK with keepers and some just kept getting stuck all day. We are fishing Rocky bottom, please listen to the crew and you won't get stuck, gets frustrating I know when you have lost 5 Rigs. Just do what we are trying to teach.
Weather looks great for the next few days.....it's Fluke time!!
Sailing everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat No Reservations, just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.

Had much better action today on keeper Sea Bass.
The South wind did come up in the afternoon but it never got as nasty as the past two days. Everyone went home with fish for dinner.
Now it's time to change it up! Fluke fishing starting tomorrow Wednesday and every day there after.

Much better morning start today just before the change of tide.
Had action both anchored and drifting, caught a couple nice keeper Fluke and a few shorts to add to the Sea Bass along with a few ling. Lenny took the pool with a 4 pound Fluke.
South wind came up and it started to get ugly like yesterday, made the bite tough. Last bottom trip tomorrow, we start Fluke fishing on Wednesday.

Of all the day's for the bite to go to crap, why pick today!!!
Started out were we left them biting yesterday, when I got to the area didn't read much but enought to stop on. Conditions were horrible with a NE wind and screaming current to the SE. Caught a couple fish, not enough. Made a couple drops then left the area.
Fished several area's from offshore to inshore all with the same results. Very disapointing to say the least. When the Ole timers say East is least, they weren't kidding and today was one of those days.
Happy Fathers day to all you Dad's that came to spend your day with us and all those Special Dad's who couldn't make it! Miss you, love you Dad....could have used a little help today but I know exactly what you would have told me....
Back at it tomorrow, 2 bottom trips left.
Fluke fishing starts this Wednesday. 7:30am-2:30pm, Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down, $90 Fare, $10 Rod Rentals.

Slugged away on every drop we fished with action on shorts & keeper Sea Bass along with several fluke.
Anthony had 4 Fluke and lost a beauty at the boat trying to lift it!! Another 3 pound Sea Bass took the pool beating out a 18 1/2 inch Fluke. Weather looks great for Fathers day, we will be bottom fishing.
