FISHERMEN/SATURDAYS CHARTER FISHING REPORT

Conditions were not in our favor today for the Climatic Co. Charter.
With not a breeze and two different currents running all day. We did slug away and had action, shorts and a couple handfuls of keepers for the crew. Also had to toss back some beauty Sea Bass.
Pool fish went 3 pounds. Back to Open Boat tomorrow.
7:30am-2:30pm. No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Kids under 12 $50, Rods $10.
Bring Ice and lots of water the next couple of days, it's going to be hot . We should have an Ocean breeze tomorrow to help cool things off.

FISHERMEN/VERY GOOD START TO THE FLUKE SEASON!! FRIDAY

Perfect day on the ocean today. Like any other business when you have the first day starting something new, you don't know what to expect till you get out there and start working.
Found the meat right off the bat with all quality Fluke.
Several guys had their three, a double limit and a couple guys with 4-5 nice keepers including, Bob Newsom, Steve Tauchman, Catskill John, Arnaldo, Fred Piklua, Pillip Pachiolo and Owen Werner,
Bob Newsom took the daily and leads the monthly pool with a beauty at 4.8 pounds just beating Steve Tauchman who landed a 4.6 pound fish. Bait worked the best along with gulp.

Headed out with a good crew this morning on a beautiful day.
Got to where we have been fishing the past several days anchored up and were picking away. OK life not what I wanted to see. Once we got surrounded I got the hell outta there.
Took a little ride and found a much better bite with way more keepers. Day ended up good for most aboard.
Fluke fishing starts tomorrow. 7:30-2:30pm/ Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, kids under 12 $50.

Headed out into the fog with just a handful of customers today, I am glad we did!
One drop with action all day on some of the largest Sea Bass of the season. At slack into the change it was drop & reel fishing with everyone going home with a nice bag of meat.
Sadly, the powers that be say tomorrow is the last day to catch Sea Bass, what a joke! This is probably the best Spring we have had in a long time and our alternatives are Fluke only or maybe some imaginary Blues.
Weather looks great so come on down and get some! Don't miss the last bite.....

FISHERMEN/GOOD SEA BASS FISHING IN THE FOG! TUESDAY

Left the dock and had dense fog all day, at least the ocean layed way down and it was comfortable.
Fishing was good once again despite a hard running current, had to get the lead out to catch. Still plenty of sea bass left for the last two trips, don't miss the last of the bite!! FLUKE FISHING STARTS FRIDAY.
