Short window of opportunity to get it done today before the Southerly started cranking!
Found several fish from 4 to 7 pounds with Dave landing his three including a 6.7 pound beauty.
Glen had the next largest at 6.11 pounds. Pat took the pool with an awesome fish that went 7.3 pounds. Several cusotmers landed 2 before we had to get out of dodge. We did manage a couple hours of fishing and hung in there as long as we could.
Wind going back into the North (light) for tomorrow, we will have much better conditions with the outgoing, don't miss the bite.

Had some nice Fluke before the crap hit the fan today!
South wind came up early and just got stronger as the day went on. Against the current it was no picnic with guys doubling up on the weight. Not a good fishing day by any means.
Scott Scuderi took the pool with a nice 5 pound 7 ounce fish. Back at it in the AM.....

Went searching today looking for some new life, glad we did as we found a few snags that held some very nice Fluke.
Hard to work the pieces scraping all day to put a catch together. Couple customers had their 3, some with 2,1 by days end. Sad tossing back huge Sea Bass, some BS that is!! Cliff took the pool with a 5 pound Fluke.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, under 12 $50, Rod Rentals $20.
See you in the AM, weather looks great!

East wind again today which kept the swell around from yesterday....couple weeks ago we had the same situation and it shut down the bite then also.
Catching a couple handfuls of fish, searching for a bite all day that I can work isn't my idea of good fishing.
Had one customer with 3 keepers, couple guys with two, all nice fish but it was certainly painfull.
Bill V took the pool with a 5 pound Fluke. Back out to give it hell tomorrow. Weather looks great...

Headed out with a nice gang of Fishermen Regs and a whole bunch of labor day first timers today.
Didn't like the wind report and hoped it be a few hours before it came on, no such luck as it got nasty early on the change of tide. Picked some fish in a couple area's, customers were getting sick and I was afraid someone would get hurt so we left the area for calmer waters.
We did find some keepers and worked it to death despite a fast drift. Mother Nature (not what I wanted to say) but she is a bitch!! Back at it tomorrow, weather looks much better the rest of the week!
