Looks like we will be tied up the next several days....
East to NE wind, Nasty ocean and a lack of a solid bite the past couple of days doesn't help.
If it doesn't straighten out by Sunday we will be Bottom Fishing starting Monday the 23rd. New sailing time of 7:00am-2:30pm.
We should get a couple good weeks of Bottom fishing before the fall Striped bass season starts around the 3rd week of October.

Found just a pick today, never any hot action but the fish we did catch were all nice sized keepers.
Most everything was caught in the morning before we went into search mode. Found a couple just about every where we went just not enough. Not much short life either.
Long time fishermen on many of the boats over the years, Henry, made it back out today with his grandson Kyle. Henry landed two very nice Fluke and Kyle took the pool with a 5 1/2 pound fish. Weather looks good through the weekend, not many trips left for Fluke.
Sailing Everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.

Got to our first area this morning to find absolutely no current, no drift.
Caught a couple fish power drifting but I wasn't planning on doing that all day! Took a ride looking for some current, found it and it was game on for the rest of the day.
Derrick lead the way with a double limit followed by several customers with their three by days end, Lou, Derrick, Super Dave and Kevin
Some beauties in the mix once again with Gary landing the first 6-pound 4-ounce keeper. A short while later JTP landed his largest of the season at 6-pounds 13- ounces to take the daily pool. Bunch of keepers in the 3-5 pound range. Weather looks great, don't miss the bite!!!

Let me first start off by saying "I Will Never forget"!!!
The years blow by so fast and 9/11 is a very Sad, Very Bad memory for this country. Funny how today the Breeze was NE and it was a beautiful calm sunny day, exactly the same as years ago!!
So much Respect for all those who died in the line of duty and those who have past years later because of it......
Small group of customers today, had a good time fishing with everyone. Good fishing once again with Americo landing a very nice 5- pound 8-ounce Fluke to take the pool. Couple guys with their three and Patrick had the hot hand on the shorts all day, loosing count around 20!!
Weather looks great all week, don't miss the bite, the end is near!
