Looks like Friday will be our next trip.
This month has been horrible for us, too much Easterly weather creating swells which have killed the bite. Fish are moving out and trying to find a bite after the blow has been an effort to say the least...
We will still give it hell to try and catch the last of fluke that are leaving. Hoping the Porgies show soon so we can keep it going until the Sea Bass opens on the first of October. Hang in there, better fishing is coming!!! Capt. Ron
Looks like the weather is going to kick us in the butt once again!!
NE for the next couple of days we will be taking a pass at least until Thursday.
Fish are moving out, not moving in and it's a struggle to catch 20 keepers, which is now a banner day to some. Hoping the porgies show up soon locally so we can keep it going until Sea Bass opens, then Striped Bass towards the end of October.
Going to the Striped Bass meeting tomorrow night, can't wait to see how many who Love the fishery show up or is it all fluff and BS. I'll update Wednesday about the rest of the week.

Pretty much the same day, same bite as yesterday. Fished a bunch of area's with not enough life to keep us making additional drifts.
Couple fish here and there with Arnaldo landing his 3 and taking the pool. Few other fish around the boat, some shorts but again it was not good.
Looks like we may loose Tuesday & Wednesday with the East wind once again. Back at it in the AM.

Just a couple handfuls of fish today.
The keepers were beauties including a 7 pound pool fish caught by Jim. Couple customers with 2 but the lack of life in several area's was not good. Beautiful day yes, but you can't eat the day. Back at it in the AM.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $20.

We hadn't been out since Monday with the weather, today was like starting over once again!
Once we got offshore I didn't like the swell that was left over, no doubt it hurt the bite.
Fished a couple area's out to the deep also with a couple guys doing OK landing some nice sized Fluke. Richie had the pool fish with a 5.8 pound fish.
Not what I would call good fishing by any means. Should lay down with the wind change overnight. Water quality was unreal, reminded me of the canyon!
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, under 12 $50, Rod Rentals $20.
See you in the AM... Capt. Ron
