Yesterday I had to work the Throttles all day, no current, no drift. Today we had to get the lead out!!!
First area we slugged away with a few nice keepers and some shorts. Didn't like how the bite was going after the change, made a move and didn't last long there. Had no bites so we left that area.
Took a ride and found several nice fish including Scott's 8.3 pound, 27 inch beauty. Had a couple 5's and some 3 pound fish. Stephen had his 3 and a few guys had 2 by the end of the day. East wind certainly shut down the bite and it got a little sporty for the end of the day.
Back at it in the AM, 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.

Had the Regs out in force today for another beautiful day on the Ocean....
Got to the first drop to find no current, no drift worked a couple pieces power drifting waiting for the change of tide. Picked at the fish, just not good enough. Gave it an hour waiting for conditions to improve, when they didn't we took another ride.
Next area same condition but the bite was much better power drifting....Several guys had their 3, Pat landed 4 a bunch with 2 and so on. Lot's of short action and contraband Sea Bass going back.
Ray Baby took the pool with a very nice 6 pound Fluke on his noodle-rod!! He will never give it up now....
Weather looks great for tomorrow, don't miss the bite! WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS SUNDAY.
SAILING EVERYDAY 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.
See you in the AM,

Headed out with another nice crew today...
Still had the last of the incoming and it was a little cranky with the NE breeze. Thank god it didn't blow 20!!
Got to the first area and had a few nice fish right away. Pete started it off with one just under 5 pounds, he went on to land his three. Second big fish came in at 7-pounds, 7-ounces. Couple guys with 2 by days end.
Highlight of the day was Chief Kelly doing what he does at least once a year, he sticks a beautiful Fluke at 9-pounds 2-ounces for our largest of the season so far!! 2 years ago he had one 13 and change! Awesome stuff Chief, made for a great picture.
It still wasn't the bite we had yesterday, most likely the conditions in the AM. Ocean was beautiful from 12 o'clock on.
Sailing Everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10 (Rod comes with 1 set up)
You can bring extra tackle in case you loose the rig or you can purchase rigs & sinkers from us. WE DO NOT SUPPLY TACKLE ALL DAY IF YOU RENT A ROD. Please do not get mad at my crew if you keep getting stuck. We are constantly showing and telling eveyone how to fish the rocky areas. Thanks!
See you in the AM,
Capt. Ron
Left the dock with a nice group of Fishermen Regulars that came to catch.....
Took a bit to get everyone acclimated with the heavy sinkers and the how to fish the bottom, once they got it it was game on!
Nice all day bite with plenty of action. Jimmy lead the way with a Double limit, several customers with their 3 by the end of the day including Henry, Kevin & Son, Jim, Steve, Richie, Mike and a few other customers. Some with two and a few with one. Kevin took the pool with a nice 4 -pound 9-ounce fish.
Not easy fishing with the conditions and fast drift, the guys with the heavier rods did much better. Again, you need a medium action Rod that can handle 10 ounces of lead. Leave the Ugly sticks home, you will just be stuck all day and it gets expensive. Bring some extra rigs and sinkers the next couple of days.
Tomorrow should be a re-peat of today with the weather, so come on down! It's September Fishing, the Fluke are Hungry.
Sailing Everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.
See you in the AM,

Not easy fishing today with a lack of a drift or a breeze.
Worked a whole bunch of snags to get it done though....3 customers had 3 & 4 keepers on fish from 3-5 pounds. Several others had two in the cooler by days end. Tossing back beautiful Sea Bass is BS!!!
Highlight of the day was Glenn Padla, Hillborough NJ, with the best rack picture of the season....his first fish was a beauty at 8-pounds 6-ounces, Second fish 5 pounds Seven-ounces and the third one went 4-Pounds 9-ounces. He also took the daily pool. Great to see the big girls still around!
Sailing Everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10. Weather looks good all week.
